Ingredients:

  • Cucumber- 1
  • Lemon juice-2 tablespoon 
  • Mint leaves – 8 to 10 
  • Ice cubes
  • Cold/ Iced water
  • Lemon (cut in slices)

Directions:

  • Peel the cucumber and chop it into pieces.
  • Blend the cucumber, mint leaves, and little water in a blender.
  • Strain this mixture and discard the pulp. Add in lemon juice, a bit of salt for taste, and dilute it with water as required.
  • Pour the drink in a glass, add in some ice cubes and garnish it with lemon slices and mint leaves on the top.

  • Lemon- 1/2

  • Watermelon- 1 cup
  • Mint leaves- 8 to 12 
  • Lemon- 1
  • Water

Directions:

  • Add in the watermelon, lemon slices and mint leaves to chilled water and leave it aside for 15- 20 minutes to let the flavors infuse in the water.

4. Green Tea and Lemon

Green tea is well known for helping in weight loss, it also helps in boosting your immunity. Green tea is rich in antioxidants which help in reducing the accumulation of fats around the belly area.

Lemon is an excellent source of vitamin C which helps with digestion. It also adds a little flavor to the bland green tea. You can either have this drink hot or cold as per your preference.

Ingredients:

  • Green Tea Bag- 1
  • Lemon Juice- 2 tablespoon
  • Few lemon slices
  • Ice Cubes- For cold drink
  • Honey- 1 tablespoon (Optional)

Directions:

  • For the warm drink: Boil one cup of water and then add a green tea bag in it. Add in the lemon juice and honey if you like to give it more flavor.
  • For the cold drink: Make green tea beforehand and let it cool down. In a jar add in the tea after it cools along with ice cubes, honey, and lemon juice. You can also add lemon slices to it. Mix it well and then enjoy the refreshing detox drink.

5. Orange and Cucumber Detox Water

  • Oranges- 2 sliced
  • Lemon- 1 sliced

Directions:

  • Take all the ingredients in a pitcher or you can also use a fruit infuser bottle.
  • Then, fill it up with ice about halfway through and then fill the remaining half with water.
  • Mix it all well and leave it in the refrigerator for about an hour to let the flavors infuse in the water.
  • You can also refill the same with water 2-3 times, then it begins to lose flavor.

6. Aloe and Lime Water

  • Aloe vera pulp- 1 tablespoon
  • Lemon- 1
  • Water- 1 glass

Directions:

  • Take one glass of water and then add in the juice of one lemon to it.
  • Add in the aloe vera pulp (scraped from the plant and not packaged one) and add this solution to a pan and heat it till the pulp blends with the water.
  • Then, add in honey if you like and then have it warm or you can also let the mixture cool down and have it cold by adding in ice cubes.
