– Olive Oil

It is one of the simplest and easily available moisturizers in the world. It can be used anywhere on the body. You just a little amount as using too much will make you look greasy. The good amounts of vitamin E in olive oil protect the skin from harsh sun or wind. Olive oil with its very light texture makes it an amazing non-sticky moisturizer that is suitable for all the skin types.

– Honey

Honey is also very helpful to moisturize and hydrate the skin. It leaves the skin soft, glowing, and radiant. – Green Tea Bags

Green tea helps to soothe inflammation of the skin and get rid of puffy under eyes due to the antioxidants present in it. The caffeine amount present in green tea is very helpful in firming and tightening the skin.

You can soak a green tea bag in water or take a used bag and place it in the fridge for 30 minutes and then place it under the eyes. Leave it on for 10 minutes and then remove it and wash the area with warm water.

– Vitamin E Capsules + Aloe Vera

Take one tablespoon of coconut oil and one tablespoon of honey with 2 tablespoons of sugar. Mix the honey and oil together, further adding the sugar and little bit of lukewarm water. Mix it well till it combines together and then scrub the mixture gently on the lips in a circular motion massaging it for a few minutes and then rinse with water. Using this homemade scrub will leave your lips soft, smooth, and supple.

– Lemon Juice Lip Scrub

Lemon juice acts as a natural bleaching agent and using it for lip scrub will help exfoliate the dead cells. Gather together one tablespoon of lemon juice, one teaspoon of petroleum jelly (Vaseline), and 2 tablespoon sugar.

Take the sugar and the petroleum jelly in a bowl mix it well and then add the lemon juice and mix it all together till it combines. Apply a little bit of this mixture on the lips and scrub it for a minute. Wash it off with water and get bright, soft, and supple lips.

– Apple Cider Vinegar

– Rosewater and Camphor

But, you can also make your own rose water at home. All you need is fresh rose petals, a jar, and strainer. Take the petals in a jar or container and shred them. Take hot filtered water and pour it in the jar till the top and push the petals till there are no air bubbles and put the lid on. Leave it till it cools down and then strain the mixture.

You now have homemade rosewater and you can store this in a spray bottle and cool it in the fridge. Use this cool rose water on the face and feel refreshed and cool this summer.

– Cucumber + Aloe Vera

Cucumber and aloe vera are well known for their hydrating properties and also for various other benefits for the skin. All you have to do is take one cucumber, two aloe vera leaves and one cup of water. Peel the cucumber and chop it in pieces. – Olive Oil + Aloe Vera

Natural oils works wonders as makeup removers helping to remove all the stubborn makeup and dirt.

All you need is extra virgin olive oil, aloe vera water, and a bottle. Fill the bottle with aloe vera water and then add 2/3rd cup of olive oil to the water. You will see that the oil will float above the water. Shake the bottle and use the mixture with a cotton pad and clean the face. This is a great gentle and light makeup remover and removes the makeup effectively.
